Programs

DOT Uganda delivers training programs that equip community members and entrepreneurs with technology, business, and entrepreneurial learning experiences. DOT Uganda programs are delivered and facilitated by young new graduates from Ugandan universities (DOT Interns) who act as trainers, mentors, and coaches in their communities.

The community members and entrepreneurs who participate in DOT's programs emerge equipped with technology and business skills, as well as a greater awareness of the opportunities around them, increased self-esteem, and plans to develop sustainable livelihoods.

DOT Uganda facilitates the ReachUp! and StartUp! programs in Uganda in partnership with national, international, and community-based organizations.

ReachUp!

ReachUp! is DOT's foundation economic program. This program trains young university graduates to deliver technology, business, and workforce readiness skills in communities that are developing, under stress, or in transition.

StartUp!

StartUp! is DOT's second economic program. Building on the foundations of ReachUp!, this program equips young university graduates with the skills to deliver technology, business, and entrepreneurial training to owners of small businesses and burgeoning entrepreneurs in communities that are developing, under stress, or in transition.
